Global President TPA Solutions, Broadspire, a Crawford Company

 

Danielle Lisenbey is Crawford's global president of TPA solutions: Broadspire. She's held this position since 2012. Immediately prior to this role, she was chief operating officer for medical services, responsible for the operation of all of Broadspire's medical and case management services. In this position, she drove the continued development and delivery of products and services that have generated cost containment results typically 10 to 15 percent better than those produced by other TPAs and medical management companies.

During her tenure as chief operating officer, many new service offerings were developed, including: the BOLD® Network, a state-stratified, multi-tiered approach to a preferred provider organization (PPO) strategy; a durable medical equipment (DME) formulary that applies the cost management principles of a pharmacy formulary to medical equipment; and a new chronic pain protocol, a multidisciplinary approach to addressing the complex chronic pain conditions that drive the duration of workers compensation and disability claims.

Lisenbey has been a recipient of numerous industry awards. Her most recent include: Atlanta Business Chronicle 2017 Women Who Mean Business honoree, Insurance Business America Magazine’s Elite Women of 2017, Insurance Business America Magazine’s 2017 Hot 100, the New York Claim Association 2016 Claim Executive of the Year; winner of the 2016 American Society of Workers Compensation Professional’s Donald T. DeCarlo Legends Award; the 2016 SVUS Women World Awards® Female Executive of the Year; the 2015 OnBoard Executive Leadership Honor Roll; the 2014 Womenetics POW award; and the 2013 Women to Watch in Insurance award. Her team and division have also won an array of awards including the Dorland Health’s Silver Crown award for case management services (2011, 2012 and 2013), SOS Children’s Villages 2014 Community Partner award, and 2014 Web Marketing Association for the U.S. Broadspire website.

Lisenbey currently serves as an executive board member for the Alliance of Women in Workers Compensation and is a board member of Moving in the Spirit, a nationally-recognized creative youth development program that uses the art of dance to positively transform the lives of children and teens in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also a member of The Society of Manufacturing Engineers and The National Association of Women Executives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and technology from Western Illinois University.
