Rebekah Ratliff is a credentialed insurance expert with over 25 years of experience as a claims professional, responsible for evaluating, negotiating and settling complex casualty claims loss matters, both nationwide and internationally. She managed and held the authority to negotiate and resolve matters for top commercial insurance carriers, with settlements totaling in the millions. Having a wide range of subject matter expertise, Rebekah made a decision to leave the claims space and used her unique skill sets to transform her career landscape into a nationally run Mediation firm in less than 1 year. Rebekah is President of Capital City Mediations, LLC, a Mediation, Arbitration and Consulting firm with a unique edge on accurate case evaluations and dispute resolution. Registered with the State of Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution as a civil and domestic Mediator and Arbitrator, Rebekah is masterful in navigating negotiation points and is an effective facilitator in the mediation process. Rebekah has become a trusted resource for countless defense and plaintiff law firms interested in learning the value of their cases to determine the appropriate course of action regarding trial, or the pursuit of dialogue geared towards early settlement.

Rebekah is the President of the Atlanta Chapter of the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) and is active with other leading industry organizations. She is a member of various legal organizations, holding positions with the National Bar Association as the Secretary of the ADR Section, and Advisory Board member for the Small Firms/Solo Practitioners’ Division. She is a highly sought after Presenter, Panelist, and Lecturer in the insurance and legal industries, and in the collegiate space. She is an active member of the American Bar Association, Claim Litigation Management (CLM), the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  Rebekah is a recipient of various prestigious awards to include, the 2016 President’s Volunteer Service Award, the 2017 Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Pinnacle Award, and National Bar Association Outstanding Service Award. She was awarded the 2018 Light of Life 7th District Congressional Award for her work in the field of mediation. Rebekah is a native of Chicago, IL, and graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana, holding a B.A. degree in the discipline of Psychology. She is based in Atlanta, GA and operates internationally.
