Head of Enterprise Customer Service, Guardian Life
As the head of Enterprise Customer Service for Guardian, Amandah is accountable for service delivery through contact centers and digital delivery across the Guardian Enterprise. Amandah has 20 years in the insurance industry where she has led domestic and international operations teams and transformation efforts in both the personal lines and commercial lines industries.
Prior to joining Guardian, Amandah led Underwriting Support & Service Operations for Zurich North America. In this role, she was responsible for improving the broker and customer experience and increasing underwriting efficiency and effectiveness through the utilization of Lean/Six Sigma practices, data ingestion/automation, and optimized operating models.
Prior to this, Amandah held various leadership positions at MetLife. During Amandah’s time at MetLife, she built several new organizations and capabilities including a fully virtual call center delivery model, a proactive customer retention organization leveraging predictive analytics and an outbound sales organization utilizing social media marketing.
Amandah spent 13 years at Nationwide Insurance in a broad range of leadership roles leading sales and service teams, training and operational excellence functions. She designed and implemented a Six Sigma program for Nationwide Direct focused on optimizing the operating model and supporting the achievement of expense targets.
Amandah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Eastern Oregon University and a Master of Business Administration from Marylhurst University. In June 2020, Amandah was recognized by Insurance Business America as an Elite Woman of 2020.
