Jennifer Santiago

Jennifer brings deep and diverse risk management and insurance expertise from the private, not-for-profit and for-profit company perspective.

Currently, she is the Assistant Vice President & Chief Risk Officer at Penn State University leading operations in enterprise and strategic risk management, operational risk management, insurance risk financing and as captive president.

Previously, Jennifer served as Director, Risk Management & Investigations at Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation leading the pharmaceutical firm’s healthcare ethics and compliance risk management program and also as Novartis’ Director, Risk Management and Insurance.

Jennifer’s prior professional experience includes work at Ingersoll Rand, Arthur J Gallagher Risk Management Services and New York University Medical Center.

Jennifer serves as an Officer on the Board of Directors of RIMS and is a member of the George Mason University Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Advisory Council.
