Mike has more than 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry, working for Auto Club Group, Kemper Insurance and SAFECO Insurance.

Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1996 and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1991. Insurance designations which include AINS, API, AIC, AIS and ARe. Bachelor’s Degree in 1980 Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois and a MBA in Risk Management & Insurance from Olivet College in 2021.

Past President and Chair of the Leadership Council of The Institutes CPCU Society January 2017. In the past served on CPCU’s Leadership Council, Leadership Council Liaison to the Loman Advisory Committee, Chapter Governor of CPCU, Chair of the Champions Advisory Committee, Past President of the Cincinnati Chapter of CPCU, Board Member of the Northwest Suburban Chicago Chapter of CPCU. Mike was the 2017-2018 President of the Underwriting Executives Council.
