Tracey Sharis

Head of Programs, Ironshore

Tracey Sharis is the Senior Vice President, Director of Programs for Liberty Mutual’s North America Specialty Group.  In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of Ironshore’s Program operations. Ironshore Programs is focused on providing Program Administrators, Managing General Agents and Managing General Underwriters with access to Ironshore’s specialty products offered by IronPro, IronHealth, Ironshore Environmental, Ironshore Property and Ironshore Specialty Casualty.Before being appointed to her current position, Tracey was Senior Vice President of Ironshore Specialty Casualty responsible for operations, retail distribution and construction during her time with Ironshore.

Prior to joining Ironshore in 2011, Tracey worked as a Managing Director with Aon Benfield.  She was responsible for the creation of FAConnect and served as a Property Facultative Reinsurance Broker.  Tracey began her career with AIG’s Lexington Insurance Company in 1994.  While at Lexington Insurance, Tracey served in various leadership roles including oversight of the company’s Employment Practices Liability group, Chief Innovation Officer, Head of Risk & Economic Capitol Modeling and Product Line Manager in Lexington’s Property group overseeing capacity up to $1.5B.

Tracey spent her time as an undergraduate at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.  She graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  During that time, she focused on mathematics and economics while working in various departments at Lexington Insurance.  Over the past 10 years, she has participated as a fellow in MIT’s Sloan School of Executive Education on several occasions focusing on Logistics, Innovation, and, most recently, a capstone project focused on the MBTA/Infrastructure.

She lives in Braintree, Massachusetts with her husband, Michael, and their two daughters and happily spends most of her time outside of work sharing duties with her husband as their children’s pro bono Uber drivers.  Tracey is a member of the boards of directors for Braintree Youth Soccer and Women In Insurance in New England.
