Current Responsibilities
Wendy Cook is a Managing Director and has had a number of leadership roles at Marsh throughout the Central Zone over the last 16 years. She is currently responsible for Casualty for the Central Zone which represents over a $100 million in revenue for Marsh in the United States. As the casualty leader, she has overall responsibilities for casualty placement and client service in collaboration with the client executive, placement teams, captive advisory, claims advocacy, risk consulting, environmental practice, multinational practice and other Marsh resources. Wendy is also part of the National Collateral Solutions Practice which brings the most appropriate collateral solutions to our clients including alternatives that are developed specifically for Marsh clients. This includes legacy collateral issues including loss portfolio transfers (LPT), novations, buyouts, and commutations. She ensures alignment of duties and responsibilities of team against department compliance, servicing, and client objectives.

Experience
Wendy joined Marsh in 2003 after 9 years on the brokerage and underwriting side of the business. Prior to joining Marsh, Wendy was a client executive for a major broker for five years which included experience in casualty marketing, placement and servicing of national and multinational clients as well as coordination for claims, loss control, property, management liability, and environmental insurance. Wendy also has four years with Travelers and CIGNA Special Risk as a casualty underwriter for Fortune 1000 companies. She has designed, implemented and serviced primary and excess casualty insurance programs specializing in loss sensitive and retrospective programs.
