Current Responsibilities

Jason Southard is a Senior Vice President at Marsh responsible for providing broking, consultation, and thought leadership expertise to professional services firms for their insurance needs and issues. Jason is a well-respected leader in the area of Professional Liability/Miscellaneous E&O. Jason used his insurance expertise, sales and marketing skills to pave the way for a successful insurance career, marrying his legal know-how with his broking and claims advocacy skills.

Experience

Jason is a 20+ year veteran of the insurance industry. His expertise is in Risk and Insurance Advisory/Placement, Marketing and Sales . In 2000, he began working with the OEM’s placing specialty insurance (E&O, D&O, Excess Liability, etc.). Since 2005, Jason has been managing and placing insurance for large accounting, law and consulting firms. His expertise is advising clients on their risks and strategically developing a plan to place insurance programs that address coverage needs and optimize premium outlay. Jason also advises on claims issues, from notification to resolution.
