Liliana is a leading (Re)Insurance specialist with over 20 years London and Internacional insurance markets experience dealing with issues arising from the placement of international Reinsurance, particularly with regard to Latin American related risks. She has significant experience handling complex multi-jurisdictional, large-scale Reinsurance claims and disputes across all classes of business, including BBB, PI, E&O, D&O, Computer Crime, Political Risk, Energy and Fraud.
She works closely with international (Re)Insurers and their local insurance companies to identify solutions to best protect their interests. Her dual qualification (admitted in England & Wales and Colombia) also allows her to directly assist defending Original Insureds against allegations (as and when required). She also advises clients about risk management and compliance issues in the Latin American region.
She is also a registered Arbitrator (ranked List A of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce).
