Tiara Morris is an experienced underwriting professional with over 15 years in the insurance industry. Currently, Tiara works at State Auto as an Underwriting Technical Specialist. In this role, she is responsible for working with regional underwriting teams to provide support, training, and technical direction. Starting her career as an INROADS intern at Liberty Mutual, Tiara has also worked at Travelers, and Chubb in various roles. She is the Immediate Past President for the Dallas Fort Worth Chapter of the National African American Insurance Association. Tiara enjoys mentoring students and young professionals and has participated in mentoring programs such as Big Brother Big Sister and collaborated on several events with her alma mater. She was essential to establishing NAAIA DFW’s Scholarship Program and NAAIA DFW Foundation’s endowment fund.Coming full circle, Tiara recently was recently recognized as a top 50 Alumni finalist for INROADS, Inc. She also was recognized as a Rising Star in Insurance Business America Magazine in 2020 and in 2021 as a part of the Elite Women honorees.

Tiara holds a Bachelors in Business Administration in Financial Services from the University of North Texas. She also earned the Associate in Risk Management designation from The Institutes and recently completed the Women in Leadership Certification Program from Cornell University. Committed to learning, Tiara is now working on her Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation. Tiara resides in Desoto, Texas with her husband Brian and two sons, Greyson and Beau.
